Group Therapy
Feeling alone and isolated during COVID-19? Perhaps you are not ready or unable to do individual therapy? Group therapy is an excellent alternative to see what therapy is all about, connect with others in an authentic way, and learn coping skills. Furthermore, it is more affordable and often just as effective as individual therapy. Check out my current group offerings below and contact me if you are interested in joining!
Coping with COVID-19
We have all been affected by this pandemic somehow and the stress and isolation can take a toll on our mind and bodies. This teletherapy group offers an authentic space to connect with others and share our struggles with COVID-19. You will also learn a new coping skill for dealing with this pandemic. No commitment necessary! Come to one class or many as this group is open to all.
When: Wednesdays 5-6pm
Cost: $30

Mindful Movement and Meditation

Sitting at a desk all day? Feeling overwhelmed by the demands on your attention? Unable to focus? This lunch-hour teletherapy group is the perfect break in your day to move your body and re-center yourself. As a certified yoga instructor (RYT-200) with specialization in mindfulness, I lead you through a 45-minute gentle movement practice and 10-minute mindful meditation. No experience with yoga is necessary as the purpose of this group is to use gentle movements to connect with your body. However, you should be cleared for movement by your medical provider. No commitment necessary! Come to one class or many as this group is open to all.
When: Tuesdays 12-1pm
Cost: $30

Caregiver Support Group
Are you a caregiver to someone with a mental or physical disability or condition? Have you been feeling overwhelmed and/or isolated by your caregiving duties? Take some time for yourself to recharge, connect with other caregivers, and engage in self-care. Just as you are advised to put the oxygen mask on yourself before helping others, you need to take care of yourself first so you can be a better caregiver to your loved ones. In this teletherapy group, you will be able to share your struggles in caregiving and learn self-care strategies. As the psychologist in the Caregiver Support Program for veterans, helping the unsung caregivers is a passion of mine. No commitment necessary! Come to one group or many as this group is open to all caregivers.
When: Fridays 10-11am
Cost: $30
