As a licensed psychologist (PSY 32113) based in Los Angeles, I help California residents on their journey towards healing, growth, and fulfillment. With the many obstacles, challenges, and setbacks we may face, life can seem overwhelming at times. My goal is to guide you towards clarity of yourself and to support you in making changes that can cascade to multiple areas of your life.

Since 2014, I have used cognitive behavioral and mindful self-compassion approaches to treat a wide-range of issues. I specialize in trauma/PTSD, anxiety disorders, body-focused repetitive behaviors, depression, life stress, burnout, relationship difficulties, insomnia, chronic pain and other chronic conditions

Throughout my personal and professional life, I have enjoyed interacting with and learning about people from a diversity of backgrounds (age, able-bodiness, religion, ethnicity/race, SES, sexual orientation, national origin, gender, etc. ). These opportunities have provided me with the skills to help my clients navigate their intersecting cultural identities and connect with their true selves. While I can adapt treatment to meet each person's needs, I come with my own cultural identity and biases, and am constantly learning and growing. Thus, I collaborate with you, the expert of your life, to find what works best for you.

I know how difficult it can be to take that first step in seeking help. Thus, I create a supportive and compassionate environment so you feel comfortable sharing your story. In the initial couple of sessions, I will be asking you a lot of questions so I can learn the full context of your presenting concerns. Then, we work together to develop a tailored treatment plan so you can meet your goals.  Though the work will be uncomfortable and difficult at times, I will be there to gently challenge you and support you on this chapter of your story and the beginning of the rest of your life's journey!

Personal Life

I was raised in the Philadelphia area, but have always yearned for the West Coast. Thus, I made my way West, first to Arizona for graduate school, and then settling in Los Angeles, California. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, yoga, paddle boarding, dancing, reading, spending time with my husband and rescue dog, Brisa, and of course, looking for cascades.
